What a week! Christmas was good. I had to work a half day on Christmas Eve, which kind of sucked, but it wasn't too bad since it was my last day before vacation. After work, we went to church with Melanne and Natalie. After church we went to mom's for dinner then home to open presents! We always get new jammies on Christmas Eve and they open their presents from me and I open my presents from them. They got me a new camera! What great kids I have!!! LOL The it was off to bed to wait for Santa. The kids were up at 5:30!!! I made them say in bed until 7 and then the wrapping paper went flying!!! We went to mom's for presents and breakfast and had a great time with the family. When we got home, I decided I was going to help the kids clean their rooms and put their new stuff away. Well, they got sick of cleaning and six hours later I was done!! Then my vacation started. Maddie came over on Sunday and stayed until Wednesday morning. Surprisingly they seemed to be getting along, but I can always tell when it's time for Maddie to leave, they all start nit-picking everything. Wednesday night Raven went to her friend Eden's grandma's house for a little New Year's party. That left Michael and me to fend for ourselves. Michael spent the day with my dad and then we went to Melanne's for a fun night of Candyland, Sorry, Operation and Yatzee! Life in the fast lane...can't beat it!Today we went and saw the movie Bedtime Stories. That is the funniest movie I've seen in a long time! I highly recommend it. It is so funny, I had tears in my eyes. It was a good end to a great vacation.
